Overcoming Fear and Unbelief
When I reflect on the journey of a generation that failed to cross into their inheritance, I realize it wasn’t giants that held them back. Instead, it was fear and unbelief. These obstacles had to be overcome before God’s people could cross the Jordan River.
The second opportunity for a new generation to enter the Promised Land presented a different challenge. They faced the walled city of Jericho. To me, the walls of Jericho symbolize the false comfort and security of man-made structures, such as religion. This false sense of security is something I have trusted in the past.
It is essential to understand that we rarely confront the BIG, bad giants when stepping into the new spaces that the Lord has prepared for us. More often, we grapple with our own fears, doubts, and the voices of self-made safety nets. These voices urge us to turn back, warning us that it might be “too late.”
The Call to Action
I prophesy to us all today: It’s too late to turn back now! We are crossing over into the spaces and places the Lord has prepared for us to occupy. There is no turning back. The chord to yesterday’s provision has been cut, and the agreement with cautious and safe living is severed.
Embracing New Opportunities
As we leap out of the plane ✈️ into the land the Lord has for us, we must embrace the opportunities that await us. This journey is not just about physical spaces; it’s about spiritual growth and transformation.
We are stepping into a realm where past generations were unable to enter. Here we come! The time for hesitation is over. We must move forward with courage and faith, trusting that the Lord has equipped us for this journey.
The Importance of Community
As we embark on this journey, it’s crucial to surround ourselves with a supportive community. We need people who will encourage us, challenge us, and hold us accountable. This community can help us navigate our fears and doubts, reminding us of the truth of God’s promises.
Building a Strong Foundation
To thrive in the new spaces we are entering, we must build a strong foundation. This foundation is rooted in faith, prayer, and the Word of God. By immersing ourselves in scripture and seeking God’s guidance, we can strengthen our resolve and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Facing Challenges Head-On
Challenges will arise as we step into the unknown. However, we must face them head-on. Each challenge is an opportunity for growth and a chance to deepen our faith. Remember, the walls of Jericho fell not because of the strength of the people, but because of their obedience to God’s commands.
Conclusion: A New Beginning
In conclusion, we are on the brink of a new beginning. The journey ahead may be daunting, but it is filled with promise and potential. Let us embrace the spaces the Lord has prepared for us, knowing that we are equipped to face whatever lies ahead.
Together, we will cross over into our inheritance, leaving behind the fears and doubts that once held us captive. The time for action is now. Let us move forward with boldness and faith, ready to claim the land that is rightfully ours.
Let us remember that it is not the giants we face, but our own fears that we must conquer. With God by our side, we can overcome anything.
