Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen.’ - Jeremiah 6:17 KJV
Blow the trumpet in Zion [warning of impending judgment], Sound an alarm on My holy mountain [Zion]! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble and shudder in fear, For the [judgment] day of the Lord is coming; It is close at hand, - Joel 2:1 AMP
In December of 2021 the Lord spoke this word to me about a season of preparation, placement and His divine timing. Today this word has stirred up within me once again only with some new revelation and current insight that I believe will encourage and give context to many within the Body of Christ in this hour.
Updated word originally posted on 12-12-2021: We are in the middle of a season of preparation, placement and timing. We are about to enter into a new season of transition, building, and advancement, but before that can take place we must be PREPARED; we must be in the right place where the Lord would have us in order to be used to the fullness of His plan (His PLACEMENT); and we must understand the times and seasons we are living in so that we can respond accordingly (His TIMING). In this season of refinement, repentance and surrender, the Lord has extended to us the grace we need to yield to His invitation for deeper waters and greater abandonment to His work in our lives. His desire is to make us like His son Jesus, and this eternal process is an on-going work of His spirit, however, there are divine times where He intends to accelerate this process in us so that we are prepared for what is to come. This is a personal work as well as a corporate transformational work that He is doing across the earth in this hour.
It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. - II Samuel 11:1 NKJV
In II Samuel 11:1, it was known to David that in the spring time the fields were planted, the weather was mild and the TIMING was right for the kings of the nations to go to war. In the spirit, like David, we must know and understand that we are approaching the time of war, harvest, and gathering of the spoils. The harvest is coming. The time is right for going out and taking ground, occupying new territory and expanding the Kingdom of God on the earth. The work that the Lord has been doing with us, within us and around us over these past few years has been preparing us to 1) rise up, 2) go out and 3) build up - all that He has assigned for us.
I answered them, “The God of heaven [has appointed us for His purpose and] will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build... - Nehemiah 2:20 AMP
The weight and size of the coming transition and advancement requires a certain level of pressure and warfare because of the magnitude of the call and the expansion of territory we are to step into, to dwell in, and to posses so that His Kingdom increases here on earth and darkness is displaced.
Personally the Lord has given me and many others an assignment to build a Global Tabernacle of David . This is not just a good idea, rather a mandate from heaven and a revelation of the purposes of God for His Global Bride in these end times. The process the Lord has had us in has been preparing us for what is to come. Now the time has come for Him to place us, as well as others, in the right place and position for the Tsunami wave of the Spirit that is coming across the Earth. The warning to us is this: if we, like David, stay behind in the comfort of where we have been (leaning on past assignments, responsibilities, or feeding on yesterday's mana) it will become a snare and a trap to us. Yesterday's manna will rot and spoil, we must yield to the placement of the Spirit of God and receive His fresh daily bread (mana from heaven, new wine, and fresh oil) and not be content with yesterday's provision or location (there is a location associated with every assignment). We are called as kings and priests. Kings rule, reign, and execute righteous judgment in our sphere's of influence. Priests keep the fire on the altar burning at all times as we minister to the heart of Jesus and point the way for others to draw near to Him in intimacy through abiding.
Lastly, we must understand the timing of the Lord. The sons of Isacaar not only knew the times and seasons, they also knew what was to be done in those times and seasons. We are entering a time of war, but it is not like any other battle we have known. We have a heavenly host fighting on our behalf and victory is the reality. I see us like the builders of the wall in Nehemiah with our tools for building in one hand and a sword in our other hand. The work of the ministry along with the word of the Lord firmly in our hands so that both work together. We won't get buried in the "doing" because we will have the balance of the word of truth to go with the works (faith with works). The Lord wants His people working side by side in support of each other, not in competition with one another as we go about our business alone and in constant comparison. There is no such thing as a soloist in this movement. We are called to operate as a Body that values and depends on ALL members in order to function in fullness. A people yielded and fully surrendered to the Spirit of God within us, and serving one another to see us all expand and grow together in the works we are each assigned.
Here is my exhortation, seek the Lord for His direction and placement for this coming season. It is time to completely surrender ourselves to His purposes and plans so that we are perfectly stationed where He has called us to be for such a time as this. Seek Him to know and have understanding of the times and seasons that we are entering into and what we must do in response. This is a time of completion of one season and the doorway to the next. Let us ready ourselves with the word of the Lord and hearts surrendered to His calling and purposes in this hour. Amen!
And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work. So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. Nehemiah 4:15-18 NKJV
